After winning the TREBLE I thought we would have a much stronger pull than this/ Well I thought we were getting the big names which we were being teased with. I was expecting to get someone, at least one of the Level of FDJ, BELLINGHAM, PEDRI, GAVI, KVICHA, VINICIUS, ODEGAARD, MUSIALA, KIMMICH, LEAO, COMAN. I would loved BARRELLA/MITOMA/DIABY if we failed above mentioned names. DOKU is exciting and is epic but he has no end product, I hope Pep brings him up to speed on that but I would rather have Diaby. The loss of KDB[injury]/MAHREZ and GUNDO is easily 50+G/A per season. As for Eze, his a nice tidy player, but I did not think we would be paying 90M+ for him, I did not even see him as a suit for us. So is Eze the BIG signing we are waiting for? Damn, that is sad!

We do, but from the big names mentioned to Eze? Faith or not, that is underwhelming, especially after we have lost so much quality in creativity and goals. Anyway Kovacic and Gvardiol are class but those belong on the more defensive side of the pitch. Kovacic can be made into a very creative player by Pep, he has good vision and forward passing ability, well so does Gvardiol!

Yeah that no big boys went after Diaby was a weird one.. would have been nice to have now. Pretty "cheap" as well looking back really. Was sure back in the spring that he would end up back at PSG in their reverting back to french.. but I guess they in the early summer made a decision to go for Dembele instead.
