That's not the point, the question was, how would we deal with a fine of £100M ? The PL have gone nuclear, they will hit us hard, so we may need a highly strategic transfer window to deal with it. It's just a thought experiment.

No, we haven't. But there is a huge groundswell of ill feeling against us and one of the possible punishments is a mega fine. The execs will have to simulate this scenario, it would be unprofessional not to do it. Hopefully they will try to get more than £40M for Silva, as suggested on here. Anyway my mum has told me to go to bed now. So night night everyone and thanks for all your positive responses.
