The more I see of Paqueta, the more gutted I am we didn't get him.Is there any space for him now? We have Kovacic, Nunes and Perrone to come back, we might need a Bernardo replacement though.
Hopefully his grief gets sorted soon & we can revive our £80m interest in him. He'd be a great asset to us regardless of who we already have. He can play as a winger too.

the more i see of Nunes, the more delighted I am we did get him.
I suppose the only reason we didn't get him was the betting issue.The more I see of Paqueta, the more gutted I am we didn't get him.
Better off without him until that has been resolved.

This is news to me that he is seen as KDB heir and not Witz probably going Bayern according to Tolmie..

As we've seen today, without Rodri's deep lying creativity & the special central creativity of KDB, we struggle against packed low block defences.To me, Paqueta is the successor to Bernardo, not Kevin.
How we could've done with Paqueta today.
We need to have a serious discussion sooner rather than later about bringing a successor in for Kev.
Not necessarily someone who has to hit the ground running, but certainly someone who can come in and learn for a year or two.
Since he has been out we have seen how crucial he is to this team and how much less dangerous we look when he is out.
Personally, I'd chuck 100M at Barca next summer for Pedri when they inevitably can't pay up for Cancelo.
