Big news, if true.

He's instrumental to the way we play and whilst he frustrates some, no-one can do what he does to the same level. I guess, as City always do, if the player feels it's time to move on we wouldn't stand in his way

Playing devil's advocate, would getting a big Saudi deal for Eddie and giving Ortega a new deal along with the number one spot be acceptable to the club and players involved? Although we'd then need to find a capable understudy which as we've seen over the years is very difficult.
 
Can’t think of many goalkeepers who could replace Ederson maybe Ortega number 1 but like Pep said in his interview you need 2 top class goalkeepers.
 
It would explain why he was so angry to come off at Spurs, would’ve been his last few seconds.
 
if he decides to leave we hopefully get a shit ton of cash for him. Eddies better with his feet but Ortega better shot stopper.
