some quality to rotate with and a good pre-season (as much as possible for the older lads, looking at you KDB) we good imo

True, but think all this chatter and rumour is just that. Other than Cancelo, Phillips and Gomez, I think Bernardo is the only other one there is any real danger of going. Could be wrong, but think we’d persuade everyone else to stay maybe just one more year for Walker and KDB.

I agree that we have a huge summer coming up. Our record against the better sides this season shows the gap is narrowing and we need to stay fresh and hungry.

I wouldn’t sell Eddie, Stones or Ruben but have no issues with the others if the fees are right.

We do need to go all out for Bruno G from Newcastle though. Dare I say it but he might even be an upgrade on Fernandinho. A midfield trio of Bruno - Rodri - Foden could rival Silva - KDB - Fernandinho whilst being more defensively solid.

Proper pacy and tricky wingers like Doku and Savio should also open up more space for big Erl up top.

I do agree in regards to squad needing a refresh but not an overhaul.

Agreed wouldn’t sell Ederson unless he actively wanted to move. I do really like Ortega but Ederson offers what no other goalkeeper in world football can with his distribution. He is a very important part of our build-up.

Dias absolute no sell for me - future captain material. Arguably our best natural defender don’t think he’s as good when in wider zones and in a 3 back but in a back 4 he’s exceptional. Stones is an interesting one - injury prone - starting to age but he’s an incredible player - would have to take a really big offer to sell but I wouldn’t be fully against it. I think there’s been a shift towards more physical defenders in recent years especially with our high line and maybe Stones doesn’t suit that to the best of his strengths.


Kovacic , Nunes , Alvarez - While I wouldn’t actively push to sell them. I would be willing to listen to offers for them. Nunes I think could use another season but if a big offer came in we would probably take it imo. Get back what we paid. Kovacic - very good solid player but my thinking is that if Bruno is there he might not get a lot of game time although very decent option to have. Alvarez - I’d be surprised if he stayed long-term - not a natural tactical fit anywhere except striker where Haaland won’t be displaced.

Walker one I’d be willing to sell or heavily reduce his minutes.

I think this was slightly tongue-in-cheek.

Dias hasn’t had a great season though and the likes of Stones and De Bruyne appear to be on the downward curve.

I’d personally be open to offers for Alvarez. I just don’t see where he fits in here.
