I just posted something similar. Our actions are maybe tied to the charges but not in the way some are saying. Not because we fear being found guilty but as some type of agreement with the Prem in clearing us...Agree and no point in chancing a season when more history beckons? Any manager brought in would have to have the same ethos now as well? I do wonder now if our transfer dealings are an agreement with regards the charges to be honest

True mate but with the season starting and the players we were rumored to be wanting/the most interested in all having release clauses then it’s interesting that we haven’t gone for any early doors?

No deals worth the fee and wages that move the needle clearly., along with the plethora of outside factors on top.

Ivan Toney is out for todays game for transfer reasons.
Let's see. Maybe they surprise everyone and make a move or two between now and the 30th...There may be some truth in that mate but in the short term we’ll never know I guess.

Is that the new narrative then? We haven't signed anyone (besides the signings we did do) because we promised the PL we wouldn't as a secret slap on the wrist that no one will ever know about?
