But assuming Gundo takes the minutes Alvarez was played in midfield, he can certainly take the minutes Alvarez played as a striker. And chip in with goals, snd give Haaland a rest. At a net profit of say £65m, sounds a good deal for now.

All depends on how bad this reported shoulder condition is. But if there is one thing Rodgers is good at, it is shitting on potentially departing players, and him coming out with this at around the time there is reported interest in buying him is maybe a tell in itself. The club will no doubt do their own assessments properly here.

Sounds like he's been carrying it for over 3 years anyway, still plays 50 games a season for Celtic
