If Laporte are Gundogan are on their way we could be looking at a serious overhaul. Bernardo wants to leave, Cancelo will go somewhere and there must be doubts about both Philips and Gomez’s futures. I’d also be interested to see what’s going to happen with Palmer as he’s not had any real impact this season.

It means at least 5 departures from a pretty thin squad in terms of numbers.

Palmer needs a loan to a Premier League team imo mate, he needs to be playing top level week in week out? West Ham or that sort of level club.

If that’s the case it allows Gundo to bow out at the top with us (and it allows us to lower the average age of the midfield) and get more energy if not nous in there. A wonderful player that is still slightly underrated by some of our fans.

Laporte might want the move to Spain given his age and family circumstances. He’s probably not played enough this season for his liking. Again a very good servant but this might be a good time for a move for both parties - and bring in someone like Gvardiol and it’s potentially an exciting upgrade.
