Newcastle signed trippier and Bruno in January 3 years ago. Trippier 3 years ago and Bruno would improve our side so this idea that it's totally impossible to sign players to improve us is nonsense. Yes it's less likely than it is likely but it's still possible.

Need to be prepared to pay top dollar, also maybe find gems at struggling clubs or picking players that improves us off the bench of other top clubs. We have been put in a situation where we need to try so it is sink or swim time

It may have fell apart over weeks but it’s been formidable for years and years. It’s not me saying enjoy it while you can, but we’ve had some of the best years imaginable. Trust the process, we will be back.

It’s not like we will finish 2nd place a couple of points behind and think we don’t need to blow things up. We do and we will.

It happens when u have a small quality squad that has pushed past its limits to win a 4th league. Add in extra matches and bang its dead.

All we can do is learn from past mistakes and try to correct them over the next few windows.

The demise started last season unfortunately the club didn’t notice.
