Hes therefore currently worth £50m and so selling for £30m would create an ffp loss of £20m

His wages are probably £150k per week so thats £8m per year

So keeping him for a year and amortising his fee another £10m would cost less than selling him for £30m

Conclusion: its bollocks and someone is paid to make it up and write it

In terms of right wingers on the market I don’t actually think there are bigger fish to fry at the moment. I’d take Arda Guler although he’s very very young
