He's new. His touch will stick more next season, trust.Probably true actually. He has the fight, energy and vision but ya he struggles sometimes with tight control.
Martin Blackburn is one of the best journos covering City. Very reliable.Hi The Sun!
We'll be back later today with some more made up rumours for Martin to write up. Whatever you're paying him - it's too much.
If Bernardo leaves then with all due respect Kovacic in really is a downgrade!
Yeh what the fuck does Pep and our scouting team know eh... 5 out of the last 6 titles won and 2 wins away from a treble! I wouldn't give a fuck if we we're in fer bringing Peter crouch out of retirement if our higher ups and Pep wanted it for the benefit of our team to be perfectly honest.Firstly, losing either Gundo or Bernardo and bringing in Kovacic as their replacement would be utterly laughable. If you lose players of that calibre, you need to replace them with world class talent, whether that's the finished article or a player with undeniable potential. Kovacic is neither.
Even if we're signing him as a squad player in addition to the midfield options we already have, it still makes little sense to me. Yes, he's a decent player and would fit in well enough. But if Pep feels we're a little light in the middle then surely keeping one or both of Doyle/McAtee around the squad next season, or using Lewis there as he did on Sunday, would make more sense than signing an injury prone 29 year old on their last big contract, who isn't even that good.
I struggle to believe that we're going to give Kovacic the 4 or 5 year deal he'd no doubt want when we're not prepared to give Gundogan a straight 2 year deal at the age of 32.
Mount is the one we should be all over. It looks like he's decided to leave, and his quality, versatility, work rate and intelligence would be perfect for us. He's no Foden, but he's a great player.
In fact, I'd take Loftus Cheek over Kovacic.
I wonder if we’d still be interested in Kovacic if Gundogan stays. Can’t see how he would replace Bernardo.
Bellingham for Bernardo fair enough but if Bernardo leaves and Bellingham heads to Real I wonder who we move for.
Well, I hope he's thinking Caerphilly about moving on.
As it stands, Gundo is staying and has changed his mind :)
Still some bits to sort, but his wife is backing him either way.
Just dot see Lavia coming back

Is that code for he’s wank?Pep would know far better than me but I didn’t see anything in Phillips game yesterday to see him being a starter in our side… I know he looks low on confidence but he just doesn’t make himself available to receive the ball in all situations as Rodri does…
Now if Silva stays as well we won’t need another midfielder then!? So the 3/4 player we were looking to buy goes down too 1/2 players!?
Only one midfielder coming in then?As it stands, Gundo is staying and has changed his mind :)

And it better not be Kovacic. I like Kovacic, but not for Bernardo, come on now...Only one midfielder coming in then?
I genuinely dont think Bernie stays mate. We do need a few new faces though and Pep has mentioned that over the last few years about having to freshen things up every year or two?
