Garcia was fookin rubbish, how he played the minutes he did was a mysteryWasn't Pep playing Eric Garcia before Stones until he wanted to go back to Barca.

Tbf Stones had turned his private life into a raging skip fire and wasn’t mentally fit to play as he had a lot of family issues to deal with. Fair fucks to him for coming back from all that, though must also have been a big wake up call for himWasn't Pep playing Eric Garcia before Stones until he wanted to go back to Barca.
To play as sole DM for us you have to come and show for the ball off Eddie or the centre backs, when he started vs saints he hid behind their midfields and never came for the ball under pressure. Think pep saw that and wasn’t impressed imhoThis is the thing.
Stones was having a bad patch, still played him.
Rodri struggled his first year, still played him.
Grealish struggled his first year, still played him.
Mahrez form can be inconsistent, still plays more than KP.
Only players than you can compare Phillips minutes to/importance to the team are Gomez who is going, Palmer a academy grad and Perrone a Jan signing and prospect.
Something not quite right in my opinion.
But I thought it was us ruining football?
HahaIt's easy to understand :)
If we have 60 games and 3 players for two positions, each of the players can start 40 games.
Also, given that Stones is going to rotate with Akanji and Dias at CB, Rice could start 40 games even if Rodri and Stones start each more than 40 games. That is, many minutes/starts will be available for Rice if we sign him.
I didn't listen but know it will be that red loving dickhead Jamie Paradise.Anyone hear the Guardian's 'Manchester' football correspondent on H & J earlier. He was supposedly on to talk about the latest transfer news from a 'Manchester' perspective. Strange then that he spent the whole 15 mins talking about a team from Trafford without a single mention of their more successful Manchester neighbours.
Big Sam did a podcast with Natalie Pike last week, think Sherwood was the other guest.
Pike asks who will Declan Rice play for next season, Sherwood says Arsenal, Big Sam then out of nowhere says Man City. He always has his ear on the ground for these things. Has lots of contacts in the game.
Could be something in this…
I keep hearing this on here but have no idea what was actually going on, had he split from his missus or something?Tbf Stones had turned his private life into a raging skip fire and wasn’t mentally fit to play as he had a lot of family issues to deal with.
