It's Quiet 18 - Wanna ring the bell?

I doubt City would miss potential targets we may want because we are sitting around waiting for a decision from Gundogan or Bernardo. We will want an answer in the coming days and will tell any potential targets to just wait a week before making any decision. If the club wanted Rice we would certainly not miss out because we are waiting for a response from Gundo/Bernardo. We are not run by idiots.
I agree with the majority of this post, however completely disagree players will wait a week or 2. This would potentially ruin the deal in place with the other club involved. Arsenal would know 100% why hes delaying, potentially causing them to look elsewhere and rip up his 225k a week, 5 year deal on offer? Tbf good excuse to delay atm, being on international duty.

Rice is obviously Arsenals first choice. They know they are not the top dogs on the transfer market and wont turn elsewhere because their number one target wants to wait a week to see if one of the top dogs of European football will make an offer, when we are still in June and the transfer window opened a week ago. If they would only sign players that would rather sign for them even if City are interested they would only have a small pool of Arsenal fans to sign from.

People need to stop fretting about transfers. The way txiki runs our club do we honestly believe that we haven't got our targets lined up and ready to go.
Tbf, as demonstrated by the Cucurella debacle last summer, Cheeky is not beyond the odd fuck-up. Of course Pep and Ake fixed the problem between them but TB does not always have his shit entirely together. Of course it'll end up fine in the end though.

Except he’s just not very good. He’s a modern day Micah Richards, all braun and very little end product.. also injury prone. £100m? No thanks. All opinions though hey.
Absolutely. I think that there may be a little more to his game, however, and one never knows with injury. Walker had had a torrid couple of years before he arrived but has subsequently been less hindered; people also complained when he arrived that he was all pace and muscle and no technique, yet Guardiola improved him beyond recognition. Perhaps we could get James for substantially less and that our style of football would be less stressful to his body. Interestingly, the year he had at Wigan in the Championship saw him play over 4,000 minutes unscathed. Maybe those rejuvenating northern airs and waters are just what he needs..

PSG want Bernardo, but why do they keep adding players into any deal, do they have FFP limits that they can't pay the 80 million.

Just looking at the formation we've been playing if Pep sticks to it and just adds to it, we'd be looking for maybe another CDM, a CM if Gundo leaves and a right wing if Bernardo leaves.
