Obviously, the Raphinha thread is interesting from the standpoint that Barca owes us around 40 million for Torres, right? So would it be around 20 million?

I think we let him go cheap to a club capable of paying more, in today's market. With 2 years left, even at his age could have pushed it higher, but I get that's just not what the club do, so if they are happy I'm happy.

He was superb for Leeds.

Not sure he'd offer the control and calmness of Mahrez, but he has threat, creativity and workrate. Not an exact like for like, but a bit of a Mahrez/Bernardo mix. Could be very effective (if we get the best version of each mixed).
 
Intrigued to see how we replace Mahrez. She Torres left we briefed we had enough in Mahrez and Palmer. Now Mahrez and possibly Palmer are off are we really happy to stick with what we have?

Just looking at this what a squad we have.
Borges has only just finished the euros for the u19’s don’t think Wilson Esbrand will make it and THB will be down the pecking order so cash in with buy option.
 
Interesting to see that Cancelo potentially wasn’t invited/didn’t want to go to this meal in Town with the rest of the boys last night. He was at a steak house in Urmston that ederson often goes too.
