I'd be more than happy with Eze but I get your point.

Tbh, I didn't believe the Barella stuff for a second. Just seemed like what people wanted to hear.

Is it not more that the suggestion was a name that hadn't been mentioned and would have been considered out of reach?

Eze doesn't seem to fit that description.
 
Yep the hints look like Eze which I am surprised about. He’s a decent player nothing more nothing less. His numbers are incredibly low and not somebody that I’d pay 80/90million for, but what do I know hey.

Now that it looks like we have Doku I was hoping the last one through the door was Barella as he would add some serious depth to our midfield. Would mean Rodri could get some rest. Slot Kova deeper and have Barella as a box to box 8.

Tolmie has talked about it being a ”pep” signing. We know pep likes buying english lads and he looks like he has the talent required for pep to work with.

Buy him, we have the cash.
