Palmer was less known but hardly unknown. As well as featuring for us last season and starting this season well, he’d also already played 15 times for England U21 and scored 5 goals. We don’t need to sell McAtee this summer, so I’d much rather keep him around and see if we can develop him.

Should never have sold Palmer but oh well.....it’s done, possibly our biggest transfer mistake, Bony aside

I’d still love Leroy back here to be honest. Doku to the right side and Neto although fantastic on his day seems injury prone already at 23? Neves would be a very nice long term signing as well but surely one of Kovacic or Nunes goes? Hope Paqueta gets sorted as well. Anyone think if we got Neves we would still do Kimmich?

Both Kimmich and Neves are CDMs. WE are not getting 2CDMs. Its either kimmich or Neves, not both. We need a creative BOX-BOX/CAM instead of 2CDMs. We have seen far too often when KDB is out we suffer a lot with creativity.

The only way I could see us getting both is if we intend to play Kimmich at RB/Inverted role. If we did get both I presume Neves would be the Philips replacement.
