Don’t see it personally. His wages are over 300k a week no chance we pay thatThink we would still add Kimmich, play inverted RB and cover the 6.

And other than 1 or 2, how many of those young players have really improved since they went there? And in terms of squad chemistry (eg penalty debacle) doesn’t really seem settled?!Why are we looking at a team that has consistently under achieved. Surely they should be looking at ourselves.
If we hadn't sold Gundohan last year, we would have surely won the CL as well. It's exactly these kinds of things that matter. There's no room for error this time. That’s obviously true, one cannot argue with that logic.
However, I wonder how the season would have gone if we’d signed either Rice or Bellingham instead of Nunes. An easier title race, an FA Cup win? Not to mention the marketing and associated sponsorship that comes with having higher profile players.
I do wish from our position of strength as the best team in English football, with Pep as an added pull, that we’d go for a superstar sometimes and outbid Utd, Madrid, etc to hijack their deals - for the right player good enough for us of course, not just for the sake of it.
I hope im wrong but I can see a smiliar deal with McAtee. Really hope he gets chance this seasonThats a cracking fee for us to be fair.
