Vlahovic from Juve? Would be a bit much for reserve striker

most likely you are right, that is a play for a better contract.
yeah all the stories mention the contract talks coming up. the other reasons being a cheap backup or replacement with haalands RC on the horizon. Take your pick and panic/disregard as needed.

Richardo Rios would be a good pick up

Sadly can’t find links to us.

Manchester United's hopes of signing Colombia midfielder Richard Rios have improved, with Palmeiras willing to consider selling the 24-year-old for 20m euros (£16.7m) in January. (Caught Offside)

If we need legs in midfield Zubimendi is not quite the answer, Rodri will be back and will be fine. Someone like Ederson from Atalanta makes more sense. Adds a lot more physicality too.

Who has said anything about legs in midfield. If anything, the past decade under Pep has shown us that "legs" are not near the top of the list when we evaluate midfielders

Football brain is the most importantly aspect for a possession based. Rodri was labelled as plodri for his lack of pace a few years ago. His intelligence more than makes up for that now.

The issue is now the game is becoming a lot more quicker and having a footballing brain is no longer enough. Gundo is struggling to adapt even though he fully understands Pep's methods. Our opponents are working us out in that regard.
