Zubimendi and/or Ederson would be good but I don’t expect more than one or two in as we would invariably end up having to upgrade again in the summer. Douglas Luiz on loan wouldn’t be the worst move.

Yeah I’d take Luiz on a loan with obligation. But it’s not like City to do that if they thought Luiz was the right player just go for him.

I do think he’s the perfect type to play alongside Rodri.

I think he had back issued prior to that, also.

2 of the 3 for me, Wharton is more long term, Gundo is finished in terms of 90mins, Kovacic get a lot of niggles and misses games, KDB who knows? That is a weird one, something not right for me.

Ederson and Wharton for me, Zubimendi is quality but two similar to Rodri, Ederson/Wharton/Rodri is a quality.

We need a RB or a pacey CB and play Akanji at RB.
