Why the fuck would we send Bernardo to Newcastle? (Bernardo is a better player than Bruno for starters imo) And why would he want to go to Newcastle? This place has gone mad

Because he’s better than Nunes so more likely to interest Newcastle, but he offers fuck all goal threat or even many assists for us. Agree about him probably wanting somewhere warmer than Newcastle though.

As for Guimaraes I could see us to a PSR friendly deal, we value him at say £70m and Newcastle want Nunes for £40m but we buy Guimaraes for £90m and they buy Nunes for £60m.

Isn't Ferguson 3rd or 4th choice at Brighton now? Doesn't seem feasible to not be able to start for them but then be able to get minutes for us despite our recent troubles

We're trying to strengthen and increase the suad,not make it smaller and weaker. We won't be swapping out 2 or 3 players just to bring in Guimaraes. McAtee maybe, talk of Nunes, Bernardo, Grealish, Savinho,Bobb being used isn't happening in January.
