First fuckin' game he wears sky blue there's a fuckin' red card. He might settle after that. Just hope it's two yellahs 'n we only miss the guy for one game.
Makes sense for all parties, doesn't it? Eddie Howe openly said that they had to sell to satisfy PSR requirements, but they can do so here without reducing their squad size. Nunes isn't a bad player but he isn't good enough for us. Newcastle would obviously see him as a downgrade on Guimaraes, but will see his versatility as being useful. Nunes himself probably sees more time on the field at Newcastle than he does at City.Nunes seems the most likely makeweight, although not convinced he’d actually get into their starting XI. £50m + Nunes would be a good deal for us, and help Newcastle with any imminent PSR issues.
Jack?Hope we get Bruno G asap but lets be honest, Newcastle arent going to want one of our cast off players are they? It will be a bigger name imo, that the club may have to give up to get this done.
Think wages are a big stumbling block there, unfortunately. We're overpaying Jack for the level of output he is providing and, as such, he will be very difficult to shift.Jack?
Jack?
Newcastle need to satisfy PSR. They bought a 4th choice keeper in the summer from Forest for about 20m. It's how it goes.Hope we get Bruno G asap but lets be honest, Newcastle arent going to want one of our cast off players are they? It will be a bigger name imo, that the club may have to give up to get this done.
Wouldn't want to see Bobb leave and letting a serviceable midfielder leave as in Kovacic wouldn't make much sense.Possibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?
I would riot if Bobb was part of the exchange.Possibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?
Agree about the wages part. But I don't think Newcastle will be concerned with assuaging the fans as Howe has made it totally clear that it's out of the board's hands. Their ire will be directed more towards the Premier League.Possibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?
I thought Newcastle wanted a right wing and centre halfWouldn't want to see Bobb leave and letting a serviceable midfielder leave as in Kovacic wouldn't make much sense.
Bobb leaving would be worse than Palmer. I think Palmer is a brilliant player and it was a mistake to sell him, but there's always an argument about his suitability for a side like City. Bobb, on the other hand, is absolutely cut out for us. He is tailor-made for the type of football we play and can operate in tight positions. Bobb cannot leave.I would riot if Bobb was part of the exchange.
Tolm said the other day on Twitter it’s a midfielder, right sided defender and striker on loan. Will be interesting to see what happensIf Tolmie is saying city want 3 new faces I’d like to see Bruno G, Marmoush, Kimmich?
I think Nunes is the most likely one. They get a replacement, and Nunes style of play is probably more suited to Newcastles system than ours. Could see him being useful there. He might not be a City level player but players like Longstaff and Willock are getting minutes regularly in their midfield.Possibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?
Do they? A de-facto straight swap McAtee and Nunes for Bruno G sounds very geared toward Man City.Newcastle need to satisfy PSR. They bought a 4th choice keeper in the summer from Forest for about 20m. It's how it goes.
We buy Bruno for 100m. They pay 100m for Nunes and McAtee.
Bobb should be protected like an endangered species.Bobb leaving would be worse than Palmer. I think Palmer is a brilliant player and it was a mistake to sell him, but there's always an argument about his suitability for a side like City. Bobb, on the other hand, is absolutely cut out for us. He is tailor-made for the type of football we play and can operate in tight positions. Bobb cannot leave.
Howe has spoken about it at length.Do they? A de-facto straight swap McAtee and Nunes for Bruno G sounds very geared toward Man City.
Your taking Newcastle for mugs if you think they would do that.
From what I've seen, Newcastle fans seem to be resigned to having to sell either Bruno or Isak, and would much prefer to keep the strikerPossibly mate but he may not want to go and his wages will be a problem i imagine. Could be Kovacic, Stones, Mcatee or even Bobb as Newcastle will be well aware that they will have to calm the fans if Bruno leaves?
