Know fuck all about the two young defenders but Marmoush is a gem. Ederson is an iffy one. Not sure about him, he doesn’t seem good enough on the ball.

I was hoping for Reijnders and Marmoush. Ederson doesn’t quite do it for me too. Maybe he’ll surprise me, but Reijnders would have easily been my pick.

I am still sceptical with Ederson. I doubt we are going to pay that much and I am not so sure Atalanta will give up on him that easy with them being Serie A league leaders.

He’s rapid yea. Remember watching him in the Uzbekistan youth league a few years ago, always thought he would be a solid John Stones replacement

I saw him play in a under 11 tournament in neighbouring Turkmenistan sponsored by a Yak yogourt company and knew immediately that he would make it.

couldnt disagree more. he is soemthing we are lacking. a mix of a 9 and 10 with lots of goals in him. get a real 6 in and nkunku can play the same role as kdb and foden or give haaland a rest and play him as a striker.

if alvarez played as a 10 in our setup nkunku can do it too. way more suited for that role than alvarez was.

Injuries are a big concern. He is not the same player.

Only thing that worries me is both clubs wouldn’t really want to part with these players and if you are looking from their perspective it’s going to have to be big offers to tempt them to part ways with their players unless they have release clauses ofc.

I dont buy the 50m being quoted for that reason.

Atalanta are directly in contention for the league, they would and probably should demand like 80m for Ederson.

Honestly, Id still pay it because saving money on anybody lesser isnt worth it, he is world class.

I don't think Ederson is worth paying over the odds for. He looks good in Atalanta's set up but it is a different proposition in Pep's demanding system. The RC Lens kid would be good. No immediate expectations but can cover and is still at the right age to further develop.
