Berbaov is a complete mug if he does that, he can negotiate a Bosman in January.LongsightM13 said:Berbatov and Diouf both look to be going to German clubs. I think they are desperately trying to raise money to sign someone.

I know it's The Times, and I like Ned, but I assume it's not true because I can probably name 500 players off the very top of my head worth 80k more than Onuoha is.

Who is the player, who is the manager, who is the agent for both?

If it is the case the United can extend Berbaflop's contract in March, even without his consent, then I assume there is a clause in his contract that sets this out. Seems unlikely and unusual though, these clauses usually work in the favour of the player not the club, I can't see why Berbaflop would agree to this one, he doesn't benefit from it at all.

-- Thu Jan 19, 2012 10:07 am --

bluemoondays said:Berbaov is a complete mug if he does that, he can negotiate a Bosman in January.LongsightM13 said:Berbatov and Diouf both look to be going to German clubs. Weird thing is Slur Alex says they can extend his contract in March by another year and apparently the club can extend without the player agreeing?
How does that work? If he's negotiated a Bosman with another club and then the rags extend him - does he still leave on a Bosman or is that new Bosman contract ripped up and he stays at the rags? It'd be an interesting test case I guess.
If I was him I'd tell them to ram their transfer up their arse, getting the joint golden boot the season before and then hardly playing the next season and getting wheeled out for CC games or "easy" CL games.
That sounds like more scouse make believe if you ask me. They've got Suarez so now they're dreaming they'll get his international partner. Why on Earth he sign for Liverpool, a side virtually certain to not be in next seasons Champion's League, and who will be far from favourites to qualify for it in upcoming seasons too, is beyond me. Cavani is a quality player, he could join a team who are currently at a far higher level than Liverpool are.unexpected item said:Twitter is currently awash with Cavani to Liverpool stories. What a fourth striker he`d be! I would also take Hummels as our defensive cover. Him alongside the boss at the back would be fromidable. JL and Kolo admirable cover. It also pains me to say that to get the balance sheet up i`d sell NDJ.As much as i love him he just doesn`t fit the mould now and we would get a good price for him.
Napoli know of our strong interest in him and IMO are likely to be trying to get an auction between the 2 richest clubs in football come summer.
