It's Quiet - a new dawn

The smart money could be on Sanchez. Arsenal would sell, he's got a year left, and letting him go to Chelsea would essentially make them favourites for the title next year. It would make sense.

Think he's off to Chelsea mate probably to replace Hazzard who will likely be on his way to Real.

When was the last time we signed a star player at the top of his game?

Why do we want to sign them at the top of their game?

I'd much rather buy a 19 year old like Jesus weeks before he explodes onto the world stage than someone for 5x the price at 24.

Was Kompany at the top of his game when he signed? Zabaleta? Silva? Aguero?

The answer is obviously no, so why on earth would it be seen as a flaw to sign players before they've reached their best?

Yaya, Silva, Kun, Sane, De Bruyne, Sterling, Jesus.....

If you think Silva at 24, Aguero at 22, Sterling at 19, Sané at 20 or Jesus at 19 were all at the top of their game then you don't watch the same sport as me.
