are you saying we should bend to media pressure and not invest so some weak city fans could deal with rags telling them we're buying the league? Someone should have said that to sheikh 9 years ago. he'd understand.

so, it's all about aguero. Expected. If that would be easier to you - we'd buy replacement for aguero soon with or without mbappe, he might have accelerated that a bit, like one year. And we'll get one more year of Aguero anyway, though in much more reduced time if we get sanchez and mbappe.

But most important thing is that it is absolutely not important what some of us, from either sides think. It's what pep and club think - and the fact they are going after both mbappe and sanchez doesn't stand well for aguero. The message is very clear. If we get these two, he's gone soon.

No ..i think the costs of Mbappe signing and the attention it brings to the club
could stir things up between some of our young players (advisors interfering--rocking the boat) that's my only concern
 
we're signing the players all the time and deal with it. We survived onslaughts after sterling and stone and many others. We'll be fine.

He's gone soon anyway. We all accept that. Not before being our record goal scorer though and being given the farewell he deserves.

I'm not sure those in power give lot of attention of him beating the record, doubt Pep thinks about that for a second, that's a fan thing and Kun would like it for sure. But he'll do that anyway probably, I guess he is staying next year and that should be enough.
