Sounds great. Are we working on a marquee attacking player, or just goalie, defense and midfield?
All depends on Sergio.

Given the lifestyle and riches they have been fortunate to experience here, that was always going to be a problem - no where else will they ever have it so good,so,as frustrating as it is......i cannot blame them for clinging on.Just a pity he can't influence all the outgoings.
Hanging around like bad smells.

Let's play the game then (based on their huge wages/pay-offs and limited options) - the turnover this summer/wage savings must be monumental.
Hart - £15m
Nasri - £16m (supposed fixed fee)
Bony - £13m - (two years left on his deal)
Mangala - £14m
Bravo - £10m
Delph - £7m
Nolito - £7m
Otamendi - £18m
Navas- Free
Clichy - Free
Sagna - Free
Yaya - Free
Kompany - Free (least we would owe him/playing on etc?)
Zabba - Free
A Sergio sale? £70m
I was looking at Kolasinac and he looks stellar defensively but I don't know how good he is in the build up and going forward. Anybody care to enlighten me on this?
That is the best piece of news today :-) No matter which names we are talking about this is great.Put it this way, I think most of our incomings are already close to being done.
Incredible.

transfermarks.de certainly runs a story today that City are favorites to get Kolasinac. His agent went to Manchester this week and spoke to City. Great buy IMO. This is guy is good, and also free as his contract runs out this summer.
He doesn't seem fast at all, he has that stocky build on him. But to me even if he's not overly fast it's okay as long as he's got the stamina to run back and forth the field. Defensively he looks like a tank. How fast is he?
It seems there are signs of us getting Kolasinac, Dahoud, Fabinho and Henrics when I read this thread. Love it!The idea of getting Dahoud+Kolasinac for £8.5m combined is ridiculous. Two young first team players which would sort out problem positions for less than £10m.
It's funny just how much we're looking at the german market with Pep, just like he bought from Spain in Germany. I wonder if, when he eventually leaves us, his next club will end up buying loads of English based players.

I reckon more like 5m for Denayer, his stock has seriously dropped. However,Mooy will fetch approaching 10m,if not kept on.I reckon we'd probably get around £10m for Denayer of Sunderland/Stoke/Bournemouth/Galatasaray.
Probably another £10m total from 2 or 3 EDS players too.

So,looking at TH's list,in an ideal transfer world,we could bring in some serious money and hugely reduce the wage bill simultaneously.
Aguero's situation is the most complex and diversive, that will be very interesting.

I hope youre right Dom,as i always believed he would be a tremendous centre half - and i honestly cant believe how his career has panned out so far,he shouldnt be playing in a Sunderland team that are certainties for relegation.I think you're underselling Denayer, I don't think his stock has dropped at all - his club is doing shite, but the Sunderland fans I've spoken to all think he's very promising and wish he was used more at CB.
