we need striker or any kind of goal scorer like now or we risk to repeat the next season all over. YOu guys can wank over aguero as long as you want but he needs 5 chances to score the goal and that is not happening since yesterday. only the ability of this team to create mayhem of chances keep his goal scoring record high, he wouldn't score 15 in rags team. And if Jesus was ever clinical, it looks we may have had trained that out of him.

won't create this amount of chances each game probably, spurs were suicidal with that high defensive line and played right into hands of one of the fastest teams on the earth, but we'll create plenty of them. Some of the football we play is out of this world and we'll have chances. If we continue to be as wasteful as tonight and on many days last season though, we'll suffer on fairly few occasions and ruin something that has potential to be one of the best football teams ever.

Im not gonna hop on you because I am sure some others will. But this post seems mostly reactionary. Aguero will find his form (Only the third game we've played? Remember?) and Jesus will get back to scoring goals for fun as the team gels more. Guys have to get used to playing with each other and we've brought in a ton of new faces. I still think we need another striker for the sake of injury and I certainly wouldn't mind Sanchez or Mbappe but the guys will find their form, they're world class. Aguero was inches off twice. Jesus looked like he was trying to be too fancy and pass it back to De Bruyne to me. Also, remember Lloris is no slouch in goal. One of the top keepers in the PL. I genuinely feel when the season starts we'll be winning games by 6 or 7. Especially if we get Sanchez or Mbappe. Just my thoughts though.

Jesus might be reactionary as it is the first time I say it loud and the sample is short to say it categorically but I'm still not completely bought into his ability to score as many goals as we hope. It's not just that big chance, that doesn't worry me, could happen to anyone, fast run, fast ball jumps a bit and it's shit. other shots from good positions that go straight to keeper or don't hit target are ones that worry me.

If we get Sanchez or Mbappe then it fulfills the wishes of my post but I don't think we'll win a lot with striking force of Kun and Jesus. That's not enough and that's not clinical enough. Especially as goal scoring support from other areas is weak. Sterling is fantastic player but not great finisher, you never know what kind of Sane you'll get in the game - the mesmerizing one or the one who looks like he'd rather watch tv from his bed and Silva, I guess I could better hit football than him. We need more goal scoring threat. More than anything else. The goal scoring threat who could add to what we have and threat who could bench what we have if they keep missing chances.

We'll batter some teams, I know that. But in those tight ones, missing chances like this will cost us points.

I will agree with you that we have a ton more playmakers than we have finishers. I do think we'll get a better KDB this season. Like Player of the Season type KDB. I think his scoring will go up and I honestly think he has a VERY good chance of breaking the assist record. I love flair but Jesus gets a little too cute sometimes. Once he gets that sorted I think he'll be one of the, if not the top striker(s) in the world. I think we get a higher goal scoring output from Sterling this year and I honestly don't know with Sane what's going to happen. He could get 15+. Or he could get 5-10 (think he's too talented not to get at least 5ish). Aguero will continue to be steady. Still one of the top strikers in Europe. He'll break the club goal record this year comfortably.

You reap what you sow when you post like some kind of ignorant fool. Sergio's goals-to-games and goals-to-mins played is exemplary. You do have a point that as a team we lack that clinical edge and ruthlessness in the box to kill-off the opposition. But it's an issue for the whole team, not Sergio in isolation, and one that the manager is very much aware needs sorting.
