It's Quiet - a new dawn

Neymar just isn't going to happen.

He would cost us £150m meaning our budget would have to be around £300m/£350m this summer.

Next summer, maybe.

Neymar isn't going to happen, but not because we couldn't afford his release clause or his likely obscene wage demands. The harder thing is convincing the player to come which, despite some tension between Neymar and club officials (and his pending court trial) is unthinkable.

You can argue all day long he won't win Ballon D'Or so long as he's in Messi's shadow, as some have, but I haven't seen anything to suggest Neymar isn't perfectly happy at Barca.

We would have to make Neymar's transfer fee back in player sales. I cannot see it.

It would be immense if we could.

If we absolutely have to make back the money, and aren't leaning on the Sheikh or that legendary Messi fund set aside, then we'd need an Aguero sale.

I think the numbers you're quoting are not far off the gross spend. Listening to all the speculation about player's to be sold, and incoming player's, we would be looking around the £200m to £250m net spend, sounds about right.

Wagner Ribeiro agent for Neymar & Gabigol, Inter maybe interested in Kun, Neymar's sister dates gabigol - agent states Gabigol not happy at Inter ??

He did say "Ney" before it ;)

Fits with the rumoured (via MD and others) big deal, beyond the value of Dybala, that Txiki is allegedly working on.

Yeah, I can see your point.

I only see us trying our arm at someone like Neymar if we sell Sergio to raise at least £60m/£70m.

Then another £70m/£80m from other player sales.

I have had a health scare in the past few days (no pun intended) so apologies for the late posting. Reading the latest news on this thread we are replacing Kun with Neymar? Not the worst news but I would rather keep Aguero for one more season, especially with him finally getting to grips with what Guardiola is expecting from the player.
