It's Quiet - a new dawn

I would favour VVD or Bonucci over Laporte. Whilst Stones hasn't strictly been a bad signing, we do have an ugly habit of signing young centre backs who don't live up to their hype. Rodwell, Savic, Boateng, Mangala and Nastasic all spring to mind.

I think we've got to trust Pep on this one. Stones hasn't set the world alight, but he's had some good games, impressive performances and it's not so hard to see how good he'll be when Pep's through with him. With Vinny and Nico still around, we could afford another younger CB like Laporte who may take a bit longer to acclimatise. Though certainly, he has all the skills to play perfectly in Pep's system.

Bonucci's a good shout, but if City are in on Sandro the chances are zero. VVD could happen, but he seems to prefer a move to London and the trail's gone cold for City there.

We should have plenty of topics for discussion later today ;)

That's what I'm talking about :)

Laporte rejected us less than a year ago. What has changed?

The Bilbao manager, for a start. Think he's shown in interviews recently he somewhat regrets his decision and would think again if presented the opportunity.

In Tolmie you believe. Bookmakers odds are a reflection of th

If you think that tolmie or any other itk are more reliable than cash put down on betting exchanges I doubt if you would get the the opportunity to be my mate, mate.
You probably think Steve Bruce Terry venables and Sam allardyce are kosher.
Ooh someone's a bit touchy.
I have no strong feelings about Tolm one way or the other. I've never either praised or rubbished his information. Please provide a link to disprove that and I'll apologise.
My reason for replying to your post is that you suggested that bookies odds fluctuations are a reliable guide to the possibility of the result of a transfer situation.
This is not the case.
