We've released Zabba, Sagna, Navas and Clichy. Does anyone else think we'll be in for other fullbacks?

I'd be ecstatic if Maffeo ended up as backup to Walker (touch wood) and Fernandinho can play there but our only backup to Mendy (touch wood) would be Kolarov and that's a significant drop off in quality.

Err...Isn't Carvalho exactly in that mould (I mean the type, not quality)? As for Fabinho, I share this concern with you. But I think Pep can try to change his style, right now he's far from being that kind of DM pivot. Can't see us signing them both if Yaya stays - we lack free foreign spots.

We need the players that are comfortable in the positions they play already,don't want Pep to change any styles,this summer Pep knows what he needs,so get the correct players in correct positions,then there are no more scenarios like Kolarov at CB as a prime example

Guess we'll try to sign one more homegrown LB (I'd like to see Bertrand or Berchiche).

No one is going to be 'comfortable', everyone will learn JdP from the scratch. It's not Mancini we're talking about mate.

No I know what you mean,everyone is going to have to be on their toes,but I'm talking about round pegs in square holes,he needs players who can play in their respective positions,right from the off
