We've also won nothing so far, largely due to not killing teams off.

In our trophy winning seasons, it's often been Yaya who made the difference & it might still be that way this season.

Doubtful. He seems to be following instructions to the letter and sat as deep as he can be. Very rare he ventures into the opponents area these days.

In saying that, he seems to want to go out with a trophy and Wembley suits him, so lets hope :-)
 
TH saying earlier in the thread that Llorente would be an option for us. Can't help but think how many goals Dzeko would of scored for us this season. Sign him instead :-)

Who would Dzeko have been playing instead off ? He wouldn't have sat on the bench on the off chance of a game. Not sure Llorente would either.

Yep. There's issues there with his work permit but I'm pretty sure we could manage to hassle the FA into awarding him one before the start of next season if we really wanted to.

Isn't there a criteria involving international games? I mean he's only played five in over two years so I doubt he'd qualify through that but I'd be excited to see him in our squad next season.

It's automatic once he hits a certain percentage of games depending on Turkeys international ranking (60% in the previous 12 months atm, 45% if they move up 2 places) but we can make an application on a points based scheme for him to be considered a special talent, it takes into account fees, wages, appearances made weighted by strength of league, continental comps etc etc.

Seen that doing the rounds on twitter a couple of days ago. Didn't think anything of it at the time, it's ridiculously easy to accidentally retweet something. Then TH confirmed Mbappe was one of the videos he posted and now I'm a giddy mess having second thoughts about it.

Although if true it would surely mean that Aguero would definitely be leaving which would be sad.
 
Are we fuck signing Mbappe, let alone Mbappe AND Sanchez.

Are these the same folk who believe we're signing Messi too?
