It's Quiet - a new dawn

Joe Hart who helped us to win 2 League titles, who have won the golden glove twice with us.
Who had outstanding performances in the league and Champions League.

Who had fans behind him and praised him as the best keeper in the league, better than De Gea and others until Pep decided he is not good enough for him and then many turned their back on Hart and decided to agree with Pep's opinion.

The season is not finished yet, hopefully Bravo will get back to the team, do well and justify Pep's decision.

You are absolutely mental if you think Bravo will get back into this side right now.

Agree, the same people who want him now said he was overpriced dogshit 12 months ago.

This has got to be one of the most idiotic comments I've seen on any transfer thread ever. Just think it through.

You've basically said "The same people who wouldn't mind getting him now for £20m thought he was overpriced at £50m+ last year"

No. Shit.

The price is irrelevant, where would he play and at who's expense?

Your quite an argumentative bloke aren't you? I've noticed you a lot recently-putting everybody down who doesn't agree with your one eyed drivel, getting all fucking aggressive behind your keyboard- I will ask you again-where will he play and at who's expense?

Barkley would provide us with a different option. Silva creates goals with his passing and movement off the ball, De Bruyne creates goals with his exceptional delivery and Barkley creates goals by running at people. I know we have Sterling and Sane that can run at people out wide but now Yaya's finished we don't have that option centrally.

If we could get him at a decent price he might be worth a gamble, at his age and being English even if it doesn't work out we should get a decent resale value. It sounds like Diaz and Foden are still a year or two away so it would also give them time to develop.

Good post. Be interesting to see how Pep would utilize Barkley. I'm not totally convinced he wouldn't try him as the deepest midfielder.

I suppose I should not involve myself in the argument you Gentlemen are having, but ..
it is pretty clear to me that we need to strengthen our midfield. Yaya is there at most 1 more season, in fact I think he will leave this summer, Fernandinho is not the youngest anymore, Fernando and Delph are not really of the required quality. There is therefore in my humble opinion enough space for Barkley in our squad. Having said that I am not sure I am in favor of buying him, but that is another matter. In general I reckon we need to buy 2 midfielders this summer.

Seems thoroughly ludicrous to suggest not buying CM's. You're right we need minimum 2 more.

I think Fabinho replaces Fernando in the squad. We definitely need someone to replace Yaya though in the role he plays now rather than his role of old. I haven't seen enough of either Dahoud or Weigl but I was under the impression that they would be kind of player for that role. We still have Fernandinho and Gundogan who can do it but we've looked at our best with Yaya there.

Instead of living on past accomplishments, I feel Joe would much rather his current performances justified his inclusion.

Here's a news flash for you though: if Hart was still at City, he'd be benched in favour of Willy.

You are absolutely mental if you think Bravo will get back into this side right now.

Agreed, I think he's done. Even if he recovers his form I think there's too much ill will. And with Ederson Moraes looking nailed on, there's really no use in keeping him over extending Willy as a back up.

Fabinho would play much more than Fernando, I see him as our right back, Garcia is more a Fernado Delph replacement. Dahoud or Weigl would be pivot, backed up by Fernandiho .That still leaves Gundogan as our only back up for Silva and DeBruyne. Room for one more I'd prefer Isco but would be ok with Barkley.

I think Dahoud might be too small for that role. Weigl as much as I'd love him don't see Dortmund selling.

Fabinho I think will get signed and yeah perfect Fernando replacement.
