Hopefully we aren't really in for Neymar, apart from being a bit of a twat, he would kicked the shit kicked out of him over here and get no protection from the bent refs.

Boateng isn't the worst of choices but the way he left City the first time I don't think he won't be the most welcomed.

I see this argument being made on here all the time, including for Jesus and Sane pre-signing, and don't get it at all. Yes, refs give us nothing, but why should we not sign the best players we can, as selected by Pep, just because the rags are dirty fucks and cheats to boot? They'll do that anyway.

Neymar is quite a physical player himself anyway, with 6 yellows and a red this season for his misdeeds.

Same, never mind this is the only tangible link from the media for us to him. It just doesn't seem likely, especially when we have so many holes to fill in other areas of the starting XI and squad.

21 lucky assists? Wow. How many of KdB's 19 assists were lucky (he's in 2nd place for assists btw)? How about Siva's 11 which makes him 3rd in the list(yes, just 11 against a lucky 21). If only the rest of the team were so lucky...

We can agree on Bale, whether Neymar is the actual target is doing my head in anyway. Roberts as backup/rotation on the right.

Edit: 11 assists for Silva, not 9
 
Can Sane operate as effectively from the right? Would we still need another striker? It's basically an Aguero for Neymar swap and I think we'd need another attacking player without much budget left (with all the other problems we have to fix as well).

Sane played on the right vs palace, he played there for Schalke too

His reasons for leaving were about his family, his ex had twins and was keeping them in Germany, and when he went back they decided to make a go of it and are now happily married, so I'd say it's a gamble that paid off for him.

He's also the biggest Guardiola fan out there, credits him for all the success he's had in the last few years so would probably come for Pep alone.
 
So has Tolmie given the nod to the Neymar talk then? Or is it another video that people are thinking it's Neymar?

If so thats a bit out of left field considering we are suppose to be going after sanchez (or has something happened there?)

I don't think we would go for Mbappe as it will be a bidding war where as strangely enough Neymar probably wouldn't be as bad (Madrid for instance wouldn't get a look in whereas with Mbappe i think they would be all over him)

Still really intrigued to see who we go for in midfield.......we need a player to replace Yaya.....not like for like as that is pretty impossible but we still will be short of central midfield options....with no real strong links to anyone either.

Fullbacks-----sandro, walker mendy all look good options

Goalkeeper - Pickford or Emerson.....both look decent again
 
I want to ask you guys which option would you choose 1 or 2.
Number one:
I think is the more realistic between them but it means Aguero is out which I think its a huge mistake.

Number 2 look so amazing, but have only 2 in the midfield which only one of them can really defend
