It's Quiet - a new dawn

Hopefully neither of them. Never been impressed by Carvalho. Haven't seen anything of Martins but hopefully we get Sanchez and then we would be sorted regarding wide players/forwards and wouldn't need him.

He made his name in the junior Portuguese sides as a right back, it seems to fit the mo though, another variable that could seamlessly play wing back!
Despite what Wikipedia says, I really wouldn't want him as a rightback, or a wingback, he's not suited to it at all. Honestly don't recall him ever playing there, it must have been for very young junior teams as he's been an all out dribbling winger for as long as I've seen him. Ran Real Madrid ragged in the CL earlier in the year, the sort of player who leaves defenders on their arse for fun, then frequently ends up overdoing it and ending up running down a blind alley. Ability wise though he's got it all, if he gets the decision making right and learns when to get rid of the ball rather than keep dribbling, he's going to be terrifying (and he's improved a lot on that front this year)

That Mendes is a busy fella, eh!

There will be a lot of shocked blues this summer.

That Fabinho is a top player.

Didn't know where to put it but looks like Willy will be off. He works at his house and apparently he is boxing things up. Biggest insult in that is it means Bravo will be staying put!

I would have thought that was always the most obvious outcome. Bravo goes to #2 and a new starter comes in.

Willy is 36, it's time for him to move on.

Would be so nice to get our business done very early in the window so we have time to prepare for the new season properly.
On the other hand ... I know it will make me more and more anxious watching the other teams do their business over summer, while City is doing nothing :-)

I know it makes sense however my hope was Bravo would be fucked off and Willy would be happy as number 2 again. Might want a year or two elsewhere at a lower level being number one possibly. Bravo is 34. As we have seen in the last few years of this new trend coming in where keepers play cup games (load of bollocks) it also means having an awful back up to our new number one.

I don't think we have seen the real Bravo. A player with his merits can be as bad ashe has been for us this season. I hope he will come back next season being the keeper who won Copa America twice and played for arguably the best club team on the planet. If he does, we will, with Ederson and him, have a fantastic couple of keepers on our books.

Of more concern is the impact Bravo's stay will have on Gunn.

Is he another set for a loan with Muric being considered no.3?

Why would you want Bravo "fucked off"?

Surely you'd just hope he improves, like Willy did after his awful start here?

Afterall it's the "load of bollocks" playing cup games which made Willy improve and eventually become something of a hero last season, and a viable first choice this season.

Even Bravo as number 2 is weakening our team! If ends up our number 1 it be lunacy by pep.

If Gunn does stay, it would be good if he got given the League Cup.

Let Bravo have the FA Cup, let Gunn have 3 or 4 games to show he's good enough. He just needs to get a game at some point, any game.
