Worry about using Academy lads as starting FBs in preseason (training and/or matches) which means our first team fullbacks won't be as prepared as we'd like. High expectations next season, and players (esp. new players who didn't play in confed cup) having a full preseason with Pep is important imo. There was alot of talk earlier this summer that it was important to Pep and Txiki too after a disappointing season...

We saw them "live" at Bingley Hall (Staffs) way back in 1974/75 and we only saw 2 people who had no form of denim.We were near the front and honestly our bastard ears were ringing for days after.Strange how I grew up as a Mod with a scooter,loved Tamla and Soul,but loved Quo.

This is actually getting quite funny now. It's like xmas keeps getting put back a day, then another day and so on. I'm fuckin sick of logging on this thread lol. With all the quotes from pep and his body language etc I'm pretty sure most things are tied up. I've seen reports of Delph to Stoke this morning which makes me more inclined to believe that both Walker and Bertrand will be done, else we'll find ourselves in a pickle with Homegrown quota's.

The fact Mendy seems tied up as well (less the official part of it all) makes me think there is probably nothing in this.

I think Mawson has been really good for Swansea and seems a Pep type player, but if we're signing a CB I think we will be signing one that is ready now and I'm not sure he is.

Yes, he is talented lad.
Even he played only one season in Turkish Super League, he had very succesful season upon expectations.
He is not good and strong enough to play right now for City but absouletly he is a hot prospect for the future.
