If we go for a CB, hopefully it’s Evans.
Surely we can’t spend another 30-50m on a CB. It’s ridiculous. What are going to do with 5 of them??
We were ready to pay £18m but WBA wanted £30m.
A £3m insurance policy is good value in case Kompany gets injured. Anything else is pointless unless we are moving permanently to 352 which is highly unlikely.

Thought it was FIFA not UEFA?Absolutely- so in the first instance UEFA will be guilty - it then remains to be seen whether UEFA decide to punish us - unlikely - more likely UEFA will change their rules and procedures going forward. Only way we are guilty is if we’ve acted improperly and not been honest with UEFA but that’s not even alleged.

If we go for a cb, judging by recent events re the selection of, & comments by, Vincent Kompany, he's going nowhere, so it would mean that Pep is getting rid of Stones or Otamendi, so it better hadn't be Johnny Fucking Evans coming in.

Apparently Sam Lee was saying on a podcast that Pep had lost faith in Stones which seems insane but more plausible than Otamendi going.
