I've seen reports that Mahrez is due back on the 2nd but not sure about "non world cup players" as a whole. I think our non WC players start pre-season around the 10th?

Somewhere back in the mists of time I am sure Pep said he would like all the transfer dealings done by 9th July, if we are back on the 10th it would make sense.

I have a Greek friend who LOVES Samaras! Any slight of him is anti-Greek bias, etc. Some people just have love for the guy I suppose.

I won't argue against it.

I just had a read through his Wikipedia page. The Style of Play portion looks like it was written by Samaras himself until the last paragraph. Clearly, it was edited by someone whose seen him play other than his family or himself.

the more and more i think about this the more and more bale makes sense to me. city always wanted 2 attackers since last summer with us wanting sanchez and mbappe. City also have always wanted to sign a world super star and are prepared to pay the money as seen by our interest in hazard and mbappe. bale is literally the only player at madrid who is available and in a position were looking to sign a player for and fits both criteria's. not to mention he is at the perfect age to give an immediate impact while not blocking sane's progression, his injury record will also make sure sane still develops well. all of that alongside that user saying he heard bale is going to city convinces me that we are looking at signing bale this summer. not to mention he is homegrown as well. it all just makes so much sense in my opinion no other player in madrid makes as much sense for us to be wanting to sign other than bale.
