Given our wage bill, I’d hardly say the cash would be the problem.Ut by the same token how long would their managers be in place? Pep must be the longest serving PL manager in recent history, Madrid change their managers with the dishwater, same with Barca, I’d be looking who’s in the squad and the longevity of it, Haaland has signed a 10 year deal, we have Rodri who’s more than likely going to extend plus the youngsters we have. Looking at how our club is run it’s probably the most stable top tier club at the moment that to me woukd be a bigger selling point, unless of course it’s all about the cash.
Pep has made it clear he’s a short timer and the club has made it clear 25/26 is going to be a rather big rebuild season. Neither of those things looks too attractive to someone expecting a massive 5-6 year deal and the promise of silverware.
