I understand your point but players don’t go from being young and promising to first team regular starter within a title winning side like City
When for example Livramento left Southampton to join Newcastle he went onto play first team and become an international player
Would you have joined City at that stage ?
I personally wouldn’t to potentially sit on the bench behind Walker and Akanji
Hence why we have to pay the huge fees we mostly want established international players that can improve and slot right into the team
The problem being so do all the other top clubs so the competition and cost is huge

Still wobbling, we will have so much reliance on Rodri again IMO and he will need more rest than ever. This year has shown it all falls apart without a 6.

I’m excited and grateful for the incomings, but still concerned on our problems without Rodri.

That brought back memories of when we went on holiday to Goa and went on a trip called “Midnight at the Oasis”, which was an Arabian style tent on the beach. The bus wouldn’t get up the hill on the way back and they asked for people to get off the bus and push. All the fatties stayed on while us skinnies pushed, with lots of expletives!!
 
Doubt we have interest in rodrygo. Our main problems are somewhere else. He using us to get a better contact

convinced of it too, new winger should be the last priority unless one of them leaves bar grealish. there already been rumors of him extending and alonso wanting him to stay, so he def uses us and arsenal

To be honest, it sounds to me more like he is trying to get a move to us specifically. He's a good player but I dont think we need the spend or the position.

He'll fit in with us perfectly to be fair, a winger who isn't a prolific goalscorer :)

Flagrantly and aggressively wrong. Our main problems are in multiple positions. Midfield. Wingers. Fullbacks. They all need big improving.
