It's Quiet the £250m return

I'd prefer Ederson to stay. I still think he's a great if not perfect keeper. But if it means Akanji and Gundogan going too that's 3 foreign players out giving us a lot more room to sort out the squad.

P.S. I love what all 3 gave us when they were at their best.

I love Ederson he's been absolutely incredible for us since he's joined, Personally I don't think his head at City anymore, I think he wants a new challenge and as a result of that we need a new keeper.

Never said I don’t love the 3 of them. All have served their part for the club and deserve praise. Gundogan especially has given his all to this club. Problem is being sentimental about them doesn’t get us back to the top and degrades the team.

Fair do's but nowt wrong in needing to move on. Eders has looked and played mostly over last year as if he has a parrot rammed up his orifice. He will always be fondly loved like gundo etc but the game stops for no one. Quicker we crack on the better

I get the pull for Gundo but the Turkish league is career suicide for Akanji & Ederson

That’s perfect. Means more minutes for both Nicos, Khusanov and opens the door to sign a new keeper and maybe a right back. Akanji hasn’t been up to scratch since after the treble season. Ederson getting older now, and Gundo doesn’t have the body to play in the Premier League anymore.

Your logic is flawed because it's just outcome based, which you have reiterated, which is a terrible & simplistic argument. Yes, it's clear why Pep played who he played; no the results don't then determine that they couldn't have been achieved a different way. The outcomes aren't even always an indicator of the process, hence the statement about the FA cup final.

No idea what your first paragraph is trying to state - Pep's own quote is that he thought they weren't ready to play in November, December, January, February and he was wrong, he should have played them. The point being, that he acknowledged he could have done it a different way, because he acknowledges that he is fallible. He does what he thinks is right & best, and he's pretty fucking good at it but we don't need to be revisionist.
