Theres reports from italy saying thats what roma want, there is no reports saying thats what city want or are negotiating.
 
Echeverri was very sharp today. He is an explosive player - fast twitch fibres and a quick mind.
As Pep watches more of him, it could well be that he wants him to stay, IMO.

What's he done in senior football to suggest he's brilliant? The club have had a good look at him for 6 months now and want him to go out on loan. He's obviously not ready yet and may never be.

there is no way these miss out if fit:
Ederson, Trafford, Ait Nouri, Gvardiol, Ake, Stones, Dias, Akanji, Lewis, Nunes, Rodri, Bernardo, Gundo, Foden, Cherki, Reijnders, Savinho, Marmoush, Doku, Haaland
and this is 20 players.

so it still leaves OReilly, Bobb, Khusanov, Nico G., Ortega, Grealish (+Reis, Echeverri, Nypan-all could be loaned out in next 10 days, Kova and Phillips both injured)
this is a bit uncomfortable for Pep imo.

during the season on average I guess 3 injuries at any time is about good estimate (some weeks it will be 5-6), which forces more of a rotation, but at the start with low number of injuries it will be bit strange.
especially for Khusanov, Nico who just arrived in January and already may feel bit out of loop.
Oreilly can even be bit of a match winner from bench, Bobb also want to be involved and show his talent.

even the Turkey rumours died down bit for Akanji, Gundo. no offers for Grealish. Ortega free to go. do we really keep all of Ake, Akanji, Stones?

haha true, but I expect he will not be here by the time we play Wolves. his contract expires next summer, would be crazy not to sell him now, throw away 25/30m and his minutes will be super limited with Bobb, Cherki want play too.
 
btw Issa Kabore still on our books, recall some club was offering 8-9m maybe 2 years ago but we kept loaning him out dont think he impressed much recently.

and some more youngsters that arent really part of first team, like Wilson Esbrand...

I’ve seen enough of him to think he’s a brilliant player/talent and should be in and around our first team squad.
 
Another talent moving because of our ineffectiveness to sell certain players. Man it’s a slow rebuild. The same players next year are most likely going to start
