It's Quiet the £250m return

Mamoush and Ait Nouri going to AFCON. Doku always injured, Foden not sure what’s going on with him and Cherki out with a serious injury. Looks very weak in the forward areas. Think this will be another if we finish in the CL spots it’s been a goood year season, which baffles me considering Pep ain’t got long left. The recruitment went all wrong when we let Arsenal get Rice.

I think its inevitable that we'll dip into the January transfer to try and fix some of the issues we can all see in front of us.

City just haven't done enough in the market and we're stuck with players we don't want to keep. Were probably a RB, quick CB, athletic box to box midfield to partner with Rodri and winger short. We have too many prospects and potential players rather than ready made players to suit what Pep wants and needs.

Best shot stopper in the world. Not the best goalkeeper for a Pep team.
Given that Ederson wanted to leave, I'm not sure who would be a better option. I don't know if he's as bad with his feet as people are making out or not but nobody else is as good as Ederson in that regard. PSG seemed to do just fine with him in goal and they are not a long ball team.

It seems Guardiola is happy with him, so let's see.

As pointed out, PSG have fast defenders that could compensate for any mistakes with his passing. We have Khusanov and he's hardly played.

He'll make top saves no doubt but its his overall game I have concerns about particularly with peps system.

Pep gets away lightly here.

Haaland, Rodri, Foden, Dias, Marmoush, Gvardiol, Reijnders is the spine of a title-challenging squad.

Throw in probably the best set of young players in the league as back up and the future.

Liverpool are ahead of us because they happen to have two of the best players in the world but they're both over 33 and they're not exactly going to last a lot longer.

Without the control game, the pausa and the high line (none of which do our incomings suit) we'd do a lot better.
Yeah, our squad is full of world class players and the best talents around, its just the clueless manager, who somehow is arguably the most successful manager in history, thats holding this absolute world class squad back from winning the league.

Delusion.

I get the feeling if we had another Stuart Pearce era and we didnt score a goal at home for the 2nd half of the season you'd say we at least came close to scoring. :)
I’m sure my effervescence is infuriating. I’ll tell you what though, I’d rather be like this than be that down on the club, after all it’s given us, than some of these posters on here. Everything is so negative, after all the club has given us. Maybe I’m just an old **** now, and these are kids who only know the last 13 years. I don’t know.

I would rather be here as a club than where we were.

I agree about the RB, we have a quick CB with Kusanov and another young fast one on loan in Juma Bah. We have also let a RB go on loan to Wrexham

I assume we don’t see them good enough but again are Lewis and Nunes that much better

If we continue with this high line we are going to lose a lot of games.
