I would argue Marmoush offers a serious goal threat.
The Rodri one is difficult. It's like saying no one able to cover Messi well enough. Salah when he's injured. González will have to do.

When great players leave others take their place think Fernandinho and Rodri. Very different types. Cherki looks to be Kev's replacement. Let's give it time.

The RB I grant you. Ridiculous we don't have one.

RB - no even remotely adequate RB moved this summer
Goal threat - last season Cherki got 9, Reijnders 10, Marmoush was the 7th top scorer in Europe
Rodri back up - Nico G is likely the closest thing out there
KDB replacement - Reijnders and Cherki were two of the closest profile players we could go for.

Out of interest who moved clubs this summer you feel we missed out on?
 
Before the window opened, I thought we desperately needed speed and defensive physicality in midfield, 4 fullbacks, a new goalkeeper, and a left wing threat.

2 out of 7.
 
We haven't solved any of the weaknesses that we had last season when defending, the midfield is still not strong enough and is easily bullied. We still concede chance after chance from over the top balls down our flanks.

We have bought very good attacking signings in Cherki and Reijnders a goal scoring midfielder and a very good creator. But defensively we are just as bad, not getting a right back is idiotic.

I don’t get het up in things like that. It was just funny listening to them slating United off.
 
I feel sorry for the word “were” on Bluemoon. “Was” has taken over whatever the context..plural or singular, it doesn't matter. When “were” sees a plural he gets ready, puts on his best suit and runs to join the sentence only to find “was” sitting in his seat stuffing his stupid face….again.

Also can Esbrand play on the right because he is still here! ;-)

This highlights why it's nonsense. That's a great business model for a team like Brighton. If they do develop into great players then sell them for huge profit. If they don't then no harm as you don't challenge for titles anyway.

Our model has always been to buy a couple of prospects but have ready made talent. We no longer have enough ready made talent to carry so many young prospects. Might look great now compared to the dippers but you know what they'll do? Buy great young players from someone else. Like Kerkez, Szoboszlai, Ekitike, Frimpong, Gakpo, Gravenberch.

We have bought some good players and we have some good prospects but we are a team that should be challenging for the title each season and unfortunately are going to have to wait a while based on the current squad. It might just be a year, but it's strange why we haven't moved to sign a few more proven players at the top level.

It's strange but they must be going all out for Livramento in January or next summer.

I don't think we look solid or balanced defensively playing both RAN and Nunes. I think we need to have at least three defenders playing.
I'd play with 3 CH's: Stones, Khusanov, Gvardiol and one of RAN & Nunes. With Donnarumma/Trafford behind i think that system would solidify the defence.

Looking ahead, getting in Livramento and Wharton next should be a priority.

So Kerkez, Szoboszlai, Ekitike, Frimpong, Gakpo and Gravenberch are great young players but Ait Nouri, Gonzalez, Savinho, Doku, Gvardiol, Cherki, Khusanov aren't?

What proven players have we actually missed out on? We bought Reijnders and Donnarumma.

Liverpool will likely win the league because of Salah and Van Dijk who literally will be retired soon. But players of that quality aren't available either, there's not some equivalent we're just choosing not to buy.
 
Rodri doesn’t sign his contract this year he will only have one year left next summer dangerous for us this if Madrid come knocking
