Really ? People move around every day, our players stay here ten years but still manage to rip their kids away from friends, it is called real life, he could put them in a helicopter every weekend to see their pals till they made new ones,most people can't

Maybe he has a bit more about him and genuinely loves and respects his kids.

Its obviously of major importance to him hence him mentioning so publically in his interview.

The only scenarios left are:

1) Pressure from fans and internal figures builds on Barca and the president. We offer £80m or so (IF we were prepared to offer money), Barca accept and messi leaves.

2) Barca are happy not to accept any money and to have an unhappy player for a season and are resigned to him leaving end of the season.

3) President is replaced, they make some decent signings, messi gets on with manager or a new one is brought in who he likes (Xavi for example) and he decides to see out his career at Barca

4) He signs for someone in Jan if he’s still unhappy.

For us, it’s now or Jan or never in my opinion.

Now or never quickly became in six months or never!

Had similar convos with the wife who has made it abundantly clear we are never leaving Scotland to move back down. Her quality of life up here and that of the kids is second to none and she wont compromise it.
