I watched a video on youtube former Olympia bodybuilder was disscussing Goretzka's transformation said one thing that caught my attention there are some performance enhancing drugs which boosts Testosterone which do not show up on a drug test if you take a minor dose, from what he said you can dope in soccer he put it and your t leavels would be in the high high healthy range which is considered a pass. So an athlete could dope his levels to 900 odd which would mean hed put on more muscle mass and also injuries and burn out wouldnt occur across a season. so basically from what he said Goretzka could be dopping but it wont show up due to his test levels being in the healthy range. I find that super dodgy

I would not be surprised one bit if this was to come out at some point in elite football

As you mention, a minor dose can be hidden as long as the level of anabolic testosterone does not exceed the regulation level. What that would do to someone (like a player who has never used a cycle like that before) is create a a superfit athlete with high intensity levels

As the article alludes to, this would only last so long because the human body will plateau on its regular dose unless that dose is then increased - this though would mean that the level in any test would exceed the regulation amount and result in a failed test.

I know past bodybuilders who continually take anabolic steroids just because of their healing properties to ward of any injuries they have accrued over their years of being in the gym. One of the main go to's for one guy was HGH - he swore by it. Couldnt bend down to tie his laces unless he was IV'd with the stuff.

Funny how salad went from weedy to muscle man very quickly, allegedly

It is Kaz...remember that picture that did the rounds...that transformation although could be achieved by a newbie to a gym setting woukd take some time, for an elite level footballer to achieve it whilst burning calories at a higher rate than the average person is an eyebrow raiser

That is why i think they should suffer burnout at some point this season. Remember when klopp arrived, liverpool could not press as he wanted for the full game - thetmy spent themselves and git weaker as the game went in.

He has now had them at a super high level for 2 years running - to do that same level at that pace 3 years on the bounce.

That isnt just down to conditioning and being put through your paces.

That drink the olympic swimmer devised has reportefly helped another ageing swimmer gain record levels of fitness amd faster recorded times.

Russia did the same in their world cup campaign. Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of similar. It is definitely dodgy but footballers get away with it.

Testosterone Enanthate, wont come up in a test/metabolite screenings, if they are only testing for synthetic anabolics, as oppossed to tren and growth hormone so it might be possible for athletes to get away with it, he went onto say an athlete could inject 200 to 300grams a week and it will not trip the ratio which they test for.

Goretzka is fully achievable natural muscle growth. The man has the resources for the best dietician and personal trainer to achieve those goals. Very easy. The second point is no you can’t dope with anabolic steroids during season and get away with it. You need to take Testosterone in between 12-20 weeks. Our current measures are very sensitive to pick out abnormal testosterone ranges, and they have noticeable side-effecrs. The only method is off season use but post cycle your endogenous levels will plummet so that can be easily exposed as well. Overall it is extremely unlikely he has used any anabolic agents.

This is a study and the way they test athletes is the same as in this study so it is quiet possible that there is dopping going on. he also showed this in his vid. 44% passed even tho they were on Enanthate. so athletes could blast in quarantine.

Use of testosterone enanthate has been shown to significantly increase strength within 6-12 weeks of administration (2, 9), however, it is unclear if the ergogenic benefits are evident in less than 6 weeks. Testosterone enanthate is classified as a prohibited substance by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and its use may be detected by way of the urinary testosterone/epitestosterone (T/E) ratio (16). The two objectives of this study were to establish (a) if injection of 3.5 mg.kg(-1) testosterone enanthate once per week could increase muscular strength and cycle sprint performance in 3-6 weeks; and (b) if the WADA-imposed urinary T/E ratio of 4:1 could identify all subjects being administered 3.5 mg.kg(-1) testosterone enanthate. Sixteen healthy young men were match-paired and were assigned randomly in a double-blind manner to either a testosterone enanthate or a placebo group. All subjects performed a structured heavy resistance training program while receiving either testosterone enanthate (3.5 mg.kg(-1)) or saline injections once weekly for 6 weeks. One repetition maximum (1RM) strength measures and 10-second cycle sprint performance were monitored at the pre (week 0), mid (week 3), and post (week 6) time points. Body mass and the urinary T/E ratio were measured at the pre (week 0) and post (week 6) time points. When compared with baseline (pre), 1RM bench press strength and total work during the cycle sprint increased significantly at week 3 (p < 0.01) and week 6 (p < 0.01) in the testosterone enanthate group, but not in the placebo group. Body mass at week 6 was significantly greater than at baseline in the testosterone enanthate group (p < 0.01), but not in the placebo group. Despite the clear ergogenic effects of testosterone enanthate in as little as 3 weeks, 4 of the 9 subjects in the testosterone enanthate group ( approximately 44%) did not test positive to testosterone under current WADA urinary T/E ratio criteria.
