This is what I was about to post.
The La Liga statement appears to refer to Messi's argument re his get out clause from last season, not what his contract says for the new season.
So am I happy again or depressed? I can’t keep up.This is what I was about to post.

Don't sound so surprised. Does he ever do anything else?So Tebas was talking shit?

There's no €700m release clause. Basically means that Barça have to negotiate because if they let it go to court they can lose Messi for like €70m potentially
Let's see how it goes
So for the first time in a while I went on the MCFC reddit to see if there was any news there that wasn't posted on here (spolier: no, but they probably get their news the same time as here).
Anyway what I really noticed there whilst browsing is the reverence they have for Sam Lee and that they're somewhat dismissive of Tolmie. The general opposite of this forum.
Solely an observation, I'm not trying to make a point. Other than me wanting to say I find it interesting how two different City discussion boards can feel so differently on something. I wonder what other differences there are there?
Did his lips move?So Tebas was talking shit?
Has anyone got the laliga statement in english
Can it not go to FIFA rather than court ?
I see it as Barça digging a bigger hole. I’m sure fifa will step in when invited and confirm Meesi’s stance.Hopefully the video is released today, can't wait too see it. Time for Messi to play a card, so far it's Barca controlling the entire narrative.
Have to take into consideration that Barca are financially deep in it, so can understand them wanting to try and get as much as they can. It’s interesting to draw parallels between the two clubs. Both exited CL through underperformance, both second in the league to main rival.
Messi wants to leave and they have destroyed the relationship between club and club legend.
I would like to think if Kun had done a similar thing this summer we would have been naturally disappointed but both fans and club would have acted with grace and treated him with the respect he deserves. There is no way on gods earth we would have treated him the way Messi is being treated.
His son's club Fuenlabrada knowingly sent the whole squad up to Coruña infested with Covidwhat episode and cover up?
