Just been told that a company (unknown sorry) has invested £500m into CFG. Sorry I don't know any more details. Might be bollocks just thought I'd share.

The City Football Group (CFG) is a holding company that administers association football clubs under the ownership of Abu Dhabi United Group (ADUG). It is part-owned by the American firm Silver Lake and Chinese firms China Media Capital and CITIC Capital. Wiki
