Yes.

If sergio asked to leave, I would accept it and wish him my thanks amd all the best for his 10 years loyal service.

Whether he was tapped up would irrelevant and academic, he has earn't the right to ask to leave when he wants to now.

Also this is different, Messi has asked them to honour an agreement and let him leave, considering the last decade and his contribution to them the club and his loyalty to them, to turn on him is very much in the rags/scouse attitude
Exactly.

Sergio would be entitled to be tapped up now.

If somebody could tempt him with a new 'project' at his age, you just let him go. He might help us get a nominal fee, but we wouldn't be demanding it.

Agree about the mediocre players but that was before the covid issue.

Messi is still the best but he's not superhuman, he is 33.

Realistically how long could he remain the best, in the premier league? 2 seasons tops?

If so, 100m plus players is far too great a sum, especially with wages on top and with 12 months remaining on his contract (not forgetting the can go free at the end of the season clause)

You are slowly becoming insufferable, it's a weekend, have a day off

I can actually only assume that Ezzy wanted outed
He could have guessed at 2 done deals thus week and got lucky.

but 6 in a week. That was simply never going to happen. When has it ever happened ?

he couldn’t evenhave got lucky.
Has he left the building or is he going to show a pair and come on and hold his hands up?
@Ezzy Come on lad we don't bite, just apologise and we all move on, life's too short.

I can countenance a valuation of £100m but no more - see Ronaldo's move to Juventus. I do not think he is the best player in football now. Neymar, Mbappe, KDB, Salah, Davies are all players who would have a significantly higher transfer value.

He is still the best player in football. He would be that next level player we have never had. None of the players you listed are as good as him currently. Kevin is amazing, but he is not Messi.

And if Sergio left on a free to join the dippers or rags?

I‘d be surprised if we didn‘t have gentlemen’s agreements in place with our departing heroes that they don‘t join rival/hostile clubs.

He wouldn't though would he ?

And if Messi was walking out to join Real Madrid, you would have some sympathy for Barca's position.

Barca linked with Mane again today. Possibly as Messi’s replacement.

I’d definitely be up for overpaying for Messi a bit of it meant Barca took Mane. Ikea would have a candle shortage.

Can you imagine the frothing. Would flood the Mersey.

only down side is they would get thiago and probably another to boost their squad
