The fat lady has started to clear her throat, but this ain’t over yet.
Come on Lionel, hold firm.
Come on Lionel, hold firm.
NoAnyone else starting to think this might just be a big game? I understand messi loves Barcelona however the way they’ve treated him the past week or so is fucking horrendous, bartomeu and the board are just being complete and utter cunts, the reason I think he could be playing a big game is that I’m pretty sure if I and many others were in messis shoes after the way they’ve treated him you’d just tell them to fuck off and take it to court?
I like to wait till a player gets officially unveiled at a press conference before I can take it all in. Perhaps I'm old skool with too many memories and disappointments of yesteryears.Him staying and leaving on a free makes zero sense financially for Barca.
Not saying it wouldnt or wont happen but its amatuer hour if it does on their behalf.
Id also wager it happening could and imo, should leave us telling the Messi camp we wont be waiting to welcome him when he does.
Its twitter, lets all wait and see what gets said officially.
Does this mean that WUM @Ezzy got it right?
Still think there are more twists and turns to this
Honestly, leverage. Even though "we never made a formal approach" everyone and their nan here was all about him coming with City arms open ready to catch him if he left. There were figures reported, a stint here and then at NYFC as well as a stake in CFG... to say City weren't interested is simply a charade to save face once the deal (if he does stay put) settles. City officials and the rest here with more pride than honesty can say "We never REALLY wanted him."Used? How? What has he gained?
Read this online and it's absolutely correct
By the way, it’s completely irrational and ridiculous to think that City have been just sat watching the Messi situation and not progressing other deals. That’s not how it works. Less panic please.
It doesn't look good for us. Its only a few days ago that Messi no longer considered himself a Barca player. Now his father and agent is saying yes to the possibility of him staying at the club Messi believes he has already left?
We really need to combine the 2 threads absolute nightmare following both lol
Out of his arse as usualOne of the things Ballague is saying is that City do not want to get involved if it goes through FIFA. Where is he getting that info from?
don't know about that one anymore, chiefIt's been a good day Blues, go to bed.
Messi and his dad are men of their word, with each passing hour, they are closer to the end game and making good on it :)
