I'd love to sign Aouar but it's looking unlikely so a better defence behind him and Foden/ Bernardo next to Kev just ahead should make him look more accomplished.

We were spoilt with Fernandinho for many years. Winning the ball back, driving us forward, protecting the defence often. These other two look like they're on a Sunday walk and one long ball over the top and they're no where to be seen.

But the thing is....otmanedi would be one of the very hest in the world if he had pace. 90% of blunders he makes are because hes caught too high up the pitch and needs to make a hero tackle.
Haven't watched a lot of Carlos. What do you think are the reasons for him conceding 3 pens in Europa? If he is a fast CB and still conceding pens, I would be worried about his instinct and intelligence.
