He confirmed nothing other than he doesn’t talk about transfers to journalists.

If we're being honest, it's something Mendy has seldom proven. Zinchenko and Delph have had longer stretches of being quality for us.

Exactly. All we need an actual left back that can defend. That's all.

I find it bizarre that we have no problems spending big for right backs. Our two right backs cost combined £110m. Yet we have had only 1 natural left back in the squad since 2017.

The injuries aren't even the biggest concern, his performances were last season. He was all over the place.

Thought Cancelo looked decent the few games he played after lockdown.
Gotta say it's not a position that concerns me as much as it seems to others.

Fernandinho never had the pace or the legs either, he's just cannier than the other two in that role. I think Rodri can learn to be the same.
