Nah too little too late for Bayern. If he was any value they would of made more effort in tying him down. Same with us and Leroy Sane.
You are a WUM or a rag

Your football knowledge is truly horrific.

Now you are just lying and have lost any ounce of credibility you had left.

Bayern did offer him a new deal and were desperate to keep him. In fact he had agreed to the contract on offer worth 12M per season over four years making him one of Bayern’s best paid players.

He had a last min change of heart - entirely his decision.

They did but not for the money he will get at Liverpool.

The thing about the people that run Bayern is that they talk a lot in interviews, and they've been saying how they were trying to resign Thiago for seven or eight months now. But ill defer to your expert insider knowledge of Bayern Munich instead.

Last season was a success we won one of the four trophies in offer and 2nd in league!

They way you said “after last season” it’s like we finished midtable and won nowt. There was only one team last season who had better season than us.

A success? Only one team did better than us? Liverpool, Bayern, Madrid, Juve, PSG all did better than us. We're not some small club that only competes domestically, we're one of the elite in Europe and they are our rivals.

Khaldoon himself said it wasn't a successful season. Our standards are different. We've spent the most money in world football, a midtable finish 15 years ago is the same as finishing 18 points behind last season.

We're a different team than we were 15 years ago with different goals. If we don't win major trophies, it's a disappointing season.

looks like Mendy is trying really hard this season. Leaned down alot dosent look as bulky as he used to be.

He’s on significantly less than the contract that Bayern had offered him therefore you are lying.

All I’ve read is Bayern offered him a four year contract but he wanted a change.

Whatever the wages for me he has gone backwards from where he was few years back oh yep a player of his standing will have the occasional top game but the premier is a hard league not like the one team league in Germany where the league is over already.

To be honest, your “Real Madrid - favour” theory is one of the most ludicrous things I’ve read on here (excluding JimB).

They tried stitching us up with the whole ffpr. They had tapped up Brahim Diaz. They failed with Sergio Aguero but they gave it a good go earlier on in his City career.

We play in the PL yes but we're not rivals with the likes of Palace. Our rivals are clubs of similar stature; so the very best in Europe.

There's a middle ground. Yes we're a fundamentally different fanbase to United and Liverpool because our rise was something almost unique. But there's a middle ground. We have to acknowledge what the club targets every season and mirror it in our own expectations. On the whole of it, no matter what happens, we'll always be happy to have the memories of the last 10 years. But like players like Bernardo have said, we do have to expect more of the players because our mindset has to be to compete for major trophies every season.

Yeah that’s a fair post.
